We are The Behaviorists!
We specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis and provide therapy to children and adults in South Florida. We provide therapy in the necessary setting depending on the behavioral needs; home, school and/or our therapy center. We opened our doors in 2017 as “Lacosta Therapy” and recently went through a rebranding.
Our staff is board certified and extensively trained in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. We use data to make decisions and always prioritize independence.
The Behaviorists uses evidence-based practices and monitors progress weekly in order to achieve desired outcomes.
What is Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the practice of applying psychological principles of learning theory in a systematic way to alter behavior. It is a type of therapy that focuses on improving and/or reducing specific behaviors.
How do I Get Started?
Contact us! In a brief phone interview we will determine your child's needs and go over basic documents required to initiate services. Once services have been approved, we'll conduct an in-person assessment to develop the best treatment plan for your child.
