Our ABA Therapy Program

Therapy Where Your Child Already Belongs

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is one of the most thoroughly researched and widely recommended therapies for individuals on the autism spectrum, both children and adults. ABA is based on the science of learning and behavior, and it focuses on identifying meaningful goals, teaching new skills, and reducing behaviors that hinder daily life.

At The Behaviorists, we implement ABA not as a one-size-fits-all program, but as a flexible and individualized approach. Our framework is tailored specifically to your child’s unique needs, strengths, and environment.

Expert Care at The Behaviorists

What Does ABA Therapy Look Like?

At The Behaviorists, ABA therapy is based on a 1:1 care model. Your child will work directly with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Each session is guided by a personalized treatment plan, and we continuously monitor progress with data.

Sessions can be held at home, school, or in the community—wherever your child’s goals are most relevant and where learning will have the greatest real-world impact. We offer up to 30 hours of therapy per week, depending on your child’s individual needs and insurance authorization.

Experts Who Care

Our Clinical Team

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Your child's Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) serves as their primary therapeutic partner. These trained professionals provide direct, hands-on therapy in each session, focusing on areas such as communication, social skills, daily living skills, and more. Our RBTs are carefully selected and rigorously trained, and we maintain low caseloads to ensure consistency in the therapy provided.

In-Home ABA Therapy
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

At The Behaviorists, each client is assigned a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is responsible for designing, overseeing, and continually improving the treatment plan. Your BCBA conducts weekly supervision visits, reviews session data, and maintains regular communication with your family. They serve as your primary clinical contact throughout your child's time with us.

Trusted Care That Makes a Difference

A Program Built Around Independence

Our mission is to provide individualized, research-based treatment while prioritizing autonomy and independence. We measure success not just by compliance, but by how much your child is able to do, engage, and thrive on their own terms.

Every treatment plan is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect your child’s progress. When goals are achieved, we set new ones. If certain strategies aren’t effective, we adjust them accordingly. This is the essence of truly individualized care.

Who We Serve

The Behaviorists offers ABA therapy for children and adults in South Florida, serving clients from early childhood up to age 22. We do not have a strict age limit; instead, we evaluate each client individually and focus on providing the appropriate level of support for their specific stage of life.

We prioritize early intervention because research consistently shows that starting therapy at a young age leads to significantly better outcomes. If your child has recently received a diagnosis or if you have concerns about their development, we encourage you to reach out as soon as possible.

Your child deserves care that's built around them

Getting Started with ABA Therapy

Beginning ABA therapy starts with a conversation. You can either call us or fill out our contact form, and we will schedule a brief phone intake to better understand your child’s needs and answer any questions you may have. If services are approved, your BCBA will conduct an in-person assessment to create a treatment plan specifically tailored to your child.

We understand that this process can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to make it as smooth as possible for your family.

Testimonials

Stories of Progress, Growth, and Transformation

The Behaviorists have helped my child integrate in being able to accept changes and when something is not available. He is overall a happier more regulated child

Changes in his behavior have helped him advance tremendously in his academics (where he was most struggling bc of his difficulties maintaining his focus/attention). They have also helped him improve his social skills and create more meaningful relationships with his peers.

His RBT doesn't give up on him and maintains goals and continues to push him. Very thankful for the team

Camille and Emely are absolutely amazing! They advocate for Jordan’s needs while at the same time promoting his independence. Teaching him skills he can implement while on his own have helped him advance academically and socially.
