In-Home ABA

We recognize that inviting a therapist into your home is a significant decision that requires trust, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

Trusted Care That Makes a Difference

A Program Built Around Independence

For most children, home is where habits are formed, routines take place, and daily life unfolds. It’s the setting for morning meltdowns, challenging mealtimes, and interactions with siblings, parents, and pets. This familiar environment makes in-home ABA therapy especially effective.

In-home ABA therapy allows our team to work with your child in their natural setting. We can observe and address behaviors as they occur in real-life situations, rather than in a clinical environment that is disconnected from everyday life. Skills learned at home tend to generalize more easily, leading to meaningful and lasting changes.

Our ABA Therapy Program

What to Expect from In-Home Sessions

When you choose in-home ABA therapy with The Behaviorists, a trained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will come directly to your home to conduct therapy sessions. Your child’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will design the treatment plan and conduct regular supervisory visits—often at your home—as needed to ensure the program is effective and to make any necessary adjustments.

The therapy sessions are structured yet flexible. Your therapist may work at a table, on the floor, in the backyard, or at the kitchen counter, depending on where the relevant skills or routines take place. Up to 30 hours of in-home therapy per week are available, depending on your child’s needs.

Expert Care at The Behaviorists

Supporting the Whole Family

One of the greatest benefits of in-home ABA therapy is that it encourages involvement from parents and caregivers. Your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will collaborate with you, sharing strategies, explaining the reasons behind their interventions, and helping you feel confident in supporting your child’s progress throughout the day.

This therapy is not just for your child; it is a partnership that includes your entire family.

Our In-House ABA Therapy Program

The Right Environment for Your Child

We recognize that inviting a therapist into your home is a significant decision that requires trust, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Our team members are thoroughly trained, background-checked, and professionally supervised throughout the entire process. We treat your home with the same care and respect that we apply to our clinical work.

For families where a combination of settings is beneficial, we also work closely with school-based services and community organizations to ensure consistency throughout your child’s day.

Testimonials

Stories of Progress, Growth, and Transformation

The Behaviorists have helped my child integrate in being able to accept changes and when something is not available. He is overall a happier more regulated child

Changes in his behavior have helped him advance tremendously in his academics (where he was most struggling bc of his difficulties maintaining his focus/attention). They have also helped him improve his social skills and create more meaningful relationships with his peers.

His RBT doesn't give up on him and maintains goals and continues to push him. Very thankful for the team

Camille and Emely are absolutely amazing! They advocate for Jordan’s needs while at the same time promoting his independence. Teaching him skills he can implement while on his own have helped him advance academically and socially.
